Yamaha T700 Rally 2020

Tell us a bit about you

I'm a 35 year old male, 6'1 and 100 kg, making me the perfect height for the Rally, which I can flat foot comfortably. As standard this bike couldn't be better suited to me.

To date I have 10 years of riding experience.

Why did you choose it?

I wanted an adventure bike with few electronics, that's capable of going around the world.

What is good about it?

I literally cannot think of one bad thing about it however it should come with protection bars as standard.

Any mods or upgrades?

  • Pannier rack
  • Protection bars
  • Barkbusters
  • Centre stand

What is the economy like?

A full tank offers approximately 170 miles.

Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Edition

How is the engine?

Amazing.

How does it handle?

Like a dream.

What are the brakes like?

They couldn't be better.

Is it comfortable?

Very much so.

How reliable have you found it?

It's super reliable and you'll struggle to find anything stronger, especially for the price.

What's the servicing frequency and cost like?

The Rally is still new, with the first service to come.

How would you sum up the model?

I bought the Rally without having seen it or a test ride, simply going off online specs. I would do it again without hesitation.
