  • Economy

What could be improved?

  • Range
  • Purchase Price
  • Rear Brake

Zero SR/S

What is the range like?

You will see 70 - 120 miles, depending where and how you ride.

Any mods or upgrades?

  • LED indicators
  • Rear Rack
  • Centre Stand
  • All factory fitted

How is the engine?

About 110 hp, instant response, 0 - 80 mph as quick as anything out there. Very quick off the blocks.

How does it handle?

It's not quite Superbike precision, but better for it. Normal road use is compliant, comfortable, accurate and predictable.

It is very nimble and tips in very nicely. Showa Big Piston has always been great road suspension. Sure Ohlins is very cool but you need your chiropractor on speed dial.

What are the brakes like?

The front brakes are by J.Juan. Not quite as effective as Brembo M50, but not far off. Great feel. Rear could be better.

Zero SR/S

Is it comfortable?

Yes, very. It's has a decent seat, upright riding position and low peg height.

How reliable have you found it?

So far, 100% reliable.

To sum up

It's a great bike and great fun to ride. The electric bike is now a viable alternative.
