What Is It?

The Ducati Monster 950 is a premium naked bike and is powered by a Euro 5 compliant liquid cooled 937 cc V-Twin, putting out 110 bhp at 9,250 rpm and maximum torque at 6,500 rpm.

Features include:

  • Aluminium frame and swingarm
  • Dual 320 mm discs up front with Brembo M4.32 four piston calipers
  • 245 mm disc at the rear with Brembo two piston caliper
  • 3-level cornering ABS system with rear off mode
  • 43 mm KYB upside down fork with 130 mm travel
  • Adjustable KYB rear shock with 140 mm travel
  • Slip and assist clutch
  • Up / down quickshifter
  • Ride modes: Urban (75 bhp), Touring, Sport
  • 8-level traction control
  • 8-level wheelie control
  • Launch control
  • 4.3" TFT dash
  • LED lighting all round
  • Scrolling indicators
  • Under seat USB socket
  • 2->2 exhaust system
  • 6 speed gearbox with gear position indicator

Compared to the Monster 821 it's slightly more powerful, 18 kg lighter, looks decidedly modern without the signature Monster trellis frame and is equipped with all the up to date tech you would expect.

The 10-spoke 17" wheels take a Pirelli Diablo Rosso III 120/70 tyre at the front and a 180/55 at the rear.

Accessories include the Termignoni muffler (£1,350), 840 mm high seat (£130), 800 mm low seat (£130), 795 mm suspension lowering kit (£216), connectivity, heated grips (£263), belly pan (£173), radiator protector (£118), pillion seat cover (£154), sports screen (£158), smoked screen (£238), Carbon dash cover (£173), Carbon mudguards (£290 / £335) and various stick on graphics. The Monster Plus adds the sports screen and seat cover.
