What Is It?

The Honda CBF125 is a popular learner friendly semi-faired bike which evolved into the naked CB125F in 2015. It's powered by an air-cooled 124.7 cc single cylinder four stroke engine, producing 11.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm and maximum torque at 6,250 rpm.

Features include:

  • Steel tubular frame
  • 240 mm disc up front with two piston caliper
  • Rear drum brake
  • Dual rear shocks
  • Five speed gearbox, fuel injection
  • Fuel gauge, electric starter

Honda's CBF125 replaces the outgoing and uber popular CG125. You get a half fairing, which is more about looks than going any faster, but it should prove equally popular with learners due to the cheap price, cheap insurance and economy on offer. The 6-spoke 17" wheels take an 80/100 tyre at the front and 100/90 at the rear.

Accessories include the 26 litre / 35 litre top boxes, a higher screen, heated grips and there's an after market full fairing available.

Colours: Black, white, red

Did You Know?

The CBF125 is manufactured by Honda's Indian subsidiary (HMSI) and in the Indian market the bike is known as the Stunner.

Up And Down The Range

The sportier CBR125R is only marginally more powerful at 13 bhp and has a few better components but in reality they are as fast as each other up to 40 mph.
