What Is It?

The BMW K1200GT is a premium touring bike and is powered by a liquid cooled 1,157 inline four engine which puts out 152 bhp at 9,500 rpm and maximum torque at 7,750 rpm.

Features include:

• 294 mm disc at the rear with Brembo two piston caliper

• 820 mm / 840 mm adjustable seat
• Adjustable levers
• Electrically adjustable screen over 100 mm
• Dual analogue dash with LCD panel

• 4->1 exhaust system
• 6 speed gearbox with gear position indicator

Compared to the 2002-2005 model there's a new slightly smaller engine making 22 bhp more power, a sharper overall look, larger rear disc, two piece seat and the swing arm is on the other side. It's a massive 32 kg lighter even though fuel capacity is up 3.5 litres.

The 10-spoke 17" wheels take a 120/70 tyre at the front and a 180/55 at the rear.

Accessories include the electronic suspension adjustment (ESA), cruise control, traction control, TPMS, computer, Xenon headlight, heated seats, heated grips, 20 mm lower seat, tall screen, sat nav and 28 / 49 litre topbox.
