What Is It?
The BMW R 5 is a classic naked bike and is powered by an air-cooled 494 cc two valve Boxer engine with dual chain driven camshafts and a 68x68 mm bore / stroke, producing 23.7 bhp at 5,800 rpm.

It was the first BMW to feature a foot operated gearbox, allowing the rider to change gear without letting go of the handlebars and a double cradle frame.
The 19" wire spoked wheels take a 3.50 tyre front and back.
