What Is It?
The BMW R1100RS is a premium sports touring bike. It is powered by an air-cooled 1,085 cc Boxer engine which puts out 90 bhp at 7,250 rpm and maximum torque at 5,500 rpm.
Features include:
- Shaft final drive
- Steel tubular frame with Aluminium single-sided swingarm
- Dual 305 mm discs up front with Brembo four piston calipers
- 276 mm disc at the rear with Brembo two piston caliper
- Telelever front suspension with 120 mm travel
- Adjustable rear Paralever suspension with 125 mm travel
- Hand adjustable screen
- Adjustable handlebar
- 780 mm / 800 mm / 820 mm adjustable seat
- Centre stand
- 2->1 exhaust system
- 5 speed gearbox
The 3-spoke 17" front wheel takes a Bridgestone Battlax BT50 120/70 tyre and the rear 18" a 160/60.
Accessories include the switchable ABS system, advanced dash with gear indicator, panniers and headed grips.
