Compared to the Multistrada 950 it has a new name to match the V4, a black frame, improvements to the gearbox, a new 8-disc clutch, new conrods, 10 mm lower seat height, footpegs from the V4, optional A2 licence restriction and it's 5 kg lighter. Approximately 2 kg has been shaved off the engine weight with the rest from new mirrors and wheels.
The 6-spoke 19" front wheel takes a Pirelli Scorpion Trail II 120/70 tyre and the rear 17" a 170/60.
Accessories include a quickshifter, multimedia system, centre stand, panniers, top case, heated grips, LED indicators, USB port, Termignoni exhaust, engine bars, LED fog lights, 850 mm high seat, 810 mm low seat, -20 mm suspension lowering kit, off-road pegs, low screen and TPMS. The Travel Pack adds the panniers, heated grips and centre stand.
