What Is It?

The 999R is tailor made and tweaked for track use, producing 139bhp at a higher 10,500rpm and maximum torque at 8,000rpm.

Features include:

• Brembo radial mounted brake calipers
• Dual 320mm discs up front with 2 piston calipers
• 245mm disc at the rear with single piston caliper
• Ohlins 43mm upsidedown fork with 120mm travel
• Ohlins rear shock with 128mm travel
• Carbon fibre front mudguard and seat unit
• Limited edition number plate
• Forged Aluminium alloy Marchesini wheels
• Termignoni exhaust (3kg lighter, way noisier, track only)
• Wet weight 193kg (6kg lighter than standard 999), dry 181kg
• 2->1 exhaust system with under seat steel muffler
• Adjustable brake levers and pegs
• 6 speed gearbox

They are quite rare so expect to see high used prices! In 2006 Ducati released a Xerox Replica limited edition but they are incredibly rare in the UK.
