Gear & Accessories

Review In A Few

Pros

  • Cool red shocks

Cons

  • Only a drum brake at the rear

What Is It?

The Honda CB125F is a popular learner friendly naked bike and is powered by a Euro 3 compliant air-cooled 124.7 cc single cylinder four stroke engine, producing 10.5 bhp at 7,750 rpm and maximum power at 6,250 rpm.

Features include:

  • Steel tubular frame
  • 240 mm disc up front with two piston caliper
  • 130 mm drum at the rear
  • 31 mm fork with 120 mm travel
  • Dual rear shocks with 5-level pre-load adjustment
  • 5 speed gearbox with gear position indicator
  • Fuel injection

Compared to the CBF125 it's down very slightly on power, has a 17 mm lower seat, larger wheels and is a huge 11 kg lighter. The chassis and wheels are a new design, there's now a balancer shaft for reduced vibration and the styling takes on more of a modern naked twist.

Rather handily you now get a gear position indicator integrated into the new dash. The 6-spoke 18" wheels take an 80/100 tyre at the front and 90/90 at the rear.

Colours: Black, white, red, yellow
