What Is It?
The Honda CBR600F is a popular mid-range sports bike and is powered by a liquid cooled 599 cc inline four engine, producing 110 bhp at 12,500 rpm and maximum torque at 10,500 rpm.
Features include:
- Aluminium frame and swingarm
- Dual 296 mm discs up front with four piston calipers
- Rear 220 mm disc with single piston caliper
- Adjustable 43 mm fork with 120 mm travel
- Adjustable rear shock with 120 mm travel
- 4->2->1 exhaust system
- 6 speed gearbox
Compared to the 1999-2000 F4 model fuel injection has been introduced, alongside twin fox-eye headlights, a 5 mm shorter wheelbase, a stronger steering head, an all digital dash apart from the rev counter and there's an upgraded swingarm pivot. The 3-spoke 17" wheels take a 120/70 tyre at the front and 180/55 at the rear.

Model History & Updates
2001-2003: CBR600FS has just a side stand, uprated clutch, lighter flywheel and a few other racing tweaks. You can spot them by the black swingarm and red/black paint job.
