What Is It?
The KTM RC8 R is a premium track focused sports bike and is powered by a liquid cooled 1,195 V-Twin LC8 engine which puts out 170 bhp at 10,250 rpm and maximum torque at 8,000 rpm.
Features include:
- Steel tubular frame with Aluminium sub-frame / swingarm
- Dual 320 mm discs up front with Brembo four piston calipers
- 220 mm disc at the rear with Brembo two piston caliper
- Adjustable 43 mm WP upside down fork with 120 mm travel
- Adjustable WP rear shock with 120 mm travel
- WP steering damper
- LCD dash with road / track display modes
- 2->1 exhaust system
- 6 speed gearbox with gear position indicator
The RC8 R builds on the RC8 with lightweight Marchesini wheels, a larger 1,195 cc engine, almost 19 bhp more power, Titanium intake valves, an improved gearbox and 6 kg shaved off the weight
The 5-spoke 17" wheels take a Continental Sport Attack II 120/70 tyre at the front and a 190/55 at the rear.
