What Is It?

The Kymco AK 550 is a mid-range maxi scooter. It's powered by a Euro 4 compliant liquid cooled 550.4 cc parallel twin engine which puts out 52.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque at 5,500 rpm.

For storage there is space under the seat for one helmet plus a few other bits and there are two gloveboxes in the steering column.

The 5-spoke 15" wheels take a Metzeler Feelfree 120/70 tyre at the front and a 160/60 at the rear.

Kymco offer it with a three year warranty. Servicing is every 6,000 miles / 9,660 km for a full service and every 3,000 miles / 4,830 km for a minor service.
