What Is It?

The Piaggio MP3 300 is a premium three wheeled maxi scooter and is powered by a Euro 5 compliant liquid cooled 278 cc single cylinder engine, producing 25.6 bhp at 7,750 rpm and maximum torque at 6,250 rpm. It shares the engine with the Vespa GTS300.

The front wheels can be locked when upright, below 5 mph and indicated by a few beeps, to keep it steady at the lights or when parked. It auto-releases the lock when you set off. The advantage of two front wheels and fancy suspension is increased grip in the corners and while braking.

For storage there is a large underseat compartment and a glovebox above the dash with a USB port.

The 5-spoke 13" front wheels take 110/70 tyres and the rear 14" a 140/70.

Accessories include a 50 litre top box with pillion backrest, 37 litre top box, 30 litre topbox, 42 litre panniers, tall screen, comfort seat and connectivity.

Colours: Black, white, grey, blue

MP3 stands for Piaggio bike with three wheels and due to the distance between the front wheels it's classified as a trike so it can be ridden on a car licence. The foot brake applies the front and rear brakes.
