Choosing it
Having brought my Lexmoto vendetta 250 without riding it first I was a little apprehensive. But after sitting on it and hearing the dull roar of its little v-twin 250 engine and full stainless exhaust I actually got a little exited.
I rode it home, all 2 miles of it and found the throttle snatching, clutch biting point awful and gear lever a mile out. Luckily 10 minutes of adjusting I was happy.
What's it like?
Time for my 22 mile ride to work and the start of running it in. I took the country lanes way instead of the M1, just in case, but it rode perfectly, even for a Chinese bike. I was really impressed.
Next day and up the M1 I went, where it sat at 70 mph no problem at all.
Economy
After a week and 130 miles I thought it’s time to put some fuel in it. I'm unsure how good the gauge was, but £8 later and she was full. I'm now coming up to 1,000 miles and I’ve had so far no issues at all.
To sum up
Would I change anything? No I wouldn’t. It’s still going really well, averaging 150 miles to the tank - all 13 litres of it.
The only thing I have done is coat it in anti corrosion spray and that’s it. I absolutely love the bike and for the money excellent value.
