What Is It?
The Triumph Street Triple R 765 is a naked bike and is powered by a Euro 4 compliant liquid cooled 765 cc triple, producing 116 bhp at 12,000 rpm and maximum torque at 9,400 rpm.
Features include:
- Aluminium twin spar frame and swingarm
- Dual 310 mm discs up front with Brembo M4.32 four piston calipers
- 220 mm disc at the rear with Brembo single piston caliper
- Switchable ABS
- Adjustable 41 mm Showa upside down BPF fork with 115 mm travel
- Adjustable Showa shock with 131 mm travel
- Stainless Steel 3->1 exhaust system
- Traction control
- Slip and assist clutch
- 6 speed gearbox with gear position indicator
The R 765 replaces the 2012-2016 Street Triple R 675, featuring a new larger engine with 11 bhp more, 13% more torque, 5 mm higher seat and 4 kg off the weight.
The swingarm is a new design, you now get Road / Rain / Sport / Custom modes with the new ride-by-wire throttle, the new rounder lights also have LED position lights, the dash is a brand new 5" colour TFT affair and the fly screen has an air intake.
Over and above the standard S 765 you get the 5 bhp more, a BPF fork, Brembo M4.32 calipers at the front, TFT dash, 5-way joystick control, slipper clutch, Sport / Custom ride modes, daytime LED running lights, self cancelling indicators and a red rear sub-frame.
The 5-spoke 17" wheels take a 120/70 Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyre at the front and a 180/55 at the rear.
Accessories include a low ride height conversion, quickshifter, pillion seat cover, Arrow exhaust and swingarm protectors.

The three previous triples were differentiated by equipment levels only but with the new generation Triumph has also added increasing levels of power output and even provides a smaller capacity A2 friendly S 660 in the range:
