What Is It?
The Triumph Thunderbird Sport is a popular cruiser style bike and is powered by a liquid cooled 885 cc triple engine, producing 82 bhp at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque at just 6,500 rpm.
Features include:
- Steel tubular frame
- Dual 320 mm discs at the front with two piston calipers
- 285 mm disc at the rear with two piston caliper
- 43 mm adjustable fork
- Adjustable rear shock
- Three 36 mm Mikuni carbs
- 2->1 + 1->1 exhaust system
- 6 speed gearbox
The wire-spoked 17" wheels take a 110/80 tyre at the front and a 160/80 at the rear.
Accessories include panniers, pillion backrest, higher bars and a screen.
Colours: Yellow/black, red/black, white/orange, orange/black
Up And Down The Range
The base 900 only has one disc at the front, cheaper suspension, higher bars, a larger front wheel, smaller back wheel, more relaxed seating position, shiny engine and lower "peashooter" mufflers. It's also around 7 kg lighter.
