What Is It?

The BMW F650GS is a mid-range adventure bike and is powered by a Euro 3 compliant liquid cooled 798 cc single cylinder four stroke engine which puts outs 69.7 bhp at 7,000 rpm and maximum torque 4,500 rpm.

Features include:

• Steel tubular frame and swingarm
• 300 mm disc up front with Brembo two piston caliper
• 265 mm disc at the rear with Brembo single piston caliper
• 43 mm fork with 180 mm travel
• Rear monoshock with 170 mm travel and remote adjuster
• Side stand
• Chain guard
• Dual analogue + LCD dash
• 2->1 exhaust system
• 6 speed gearbox with gear position indicator

Compared to the 2000-2007 model there's a new 146 cc larger parallel twine engine with 20 bhp more power, a 6 speed gearbox, a larger rear disc and peak torque appears 400 rpm lower down the range but it's 6 kg heavier.

The 10-spoke 19" front wheel takes a 110/80 tyre and the rear 17" a 140/80.

Accessories include the 765 mm lowering kit, ABS system with off-mode, centre stand, TPMS, heated grips, onboard computer, 790 mm low seat, high seat, panniers, topbox, handguards, tall screen, and 12V socket.

Colours: White, silver, blue, red, orange, yellow/black

Unusually the fuel tank is under the seat.
