What Is It?

The Suzuki TL1000R is a dedicated sports bike and is powered by a liquid cooled 996 cc V-Twin engine which puts out 135 bhp at 9,500 rpm and maximum torque at 7,500 rpm.

Features include:

  • Aluminium frame and swingarm
  • Dual 320 mm discs up front with Tokico six piston calipers
  • 220 mm disc at the rear with Tokico two piston caliper
  • Adjustable KYB upside down fork with 115 mm travel
  • Adjustable temperature compensating rear shock with 125 mm travel
  • Steering damper
  • Fuel injection
  • Dual analogue / LCD dash
  • Dual side mounted radiators
  • Adjustable levers
  • 2->2 exhaust system
  • 6 speed gearbox

The 3-spoke 17" wheels take a Metzeler Racing 120/70 tyre at the front and a 190/50 at the rear.

Accessories include the £50,000 race kit and Yoshimura exhaust.

There's a handy storage area under the pillion hump and the battery lives under the front fairing to keep as much weight up front as possible.
